Privacy Policy

EgaFind collects only the data needed to route skilled professionals, verify trust, protect payments, and keep people safe before, during, and after a service visit.

What we collect

  • Account data such as name, phone number, email address, encrypted credentials, and account role.
  • Location data used for proximity matching, live routing during active jobs, anti-fraud arrival checks, and emergency support.
  • Transaction, escrow, and payout records needed for reconciliation, taxes, refunds, disputes, and abuse prevention.

How we use data

  • To match customers with the nearest qualified artisans, show trustworthy profiles, and enable real-time chat, calls, location, and job status changes.
  • To verify identities, prevent no-shows, enforce agreed pricing, protect escrow releases, and improve route accuracy and platform safety.
  • To deliver support, policy notices, security alerts, product updates, and service-level reminders.

Location and safety

  • Customer location stays private until a booking or accepted job requires it.
  • Artisan background location is used only when they explicitly go online or when an active job requires live progress tracking.
  • Emergency alerts may share live coordinates with support and user-defined emergency contacts when the SOS flow is triggered.

Retention and deletion

  • Operational logs and transaction records are retained for legal, tax, anti-fraud, and dispute-resolution obligations.
  • Sensitive location history is minimized and periodically purged according to internal retention schedules and local law.
  • Users may request access, correction, export, or deletion of eligible personal data through support.
